Follow up on Kitchen Nook Project

Here is where we are so far. This wonderful color changes all through the day. In it's truest form it looks like a stick of butter, but the light plays off of it so well from warm to cool and everywhere in between.

I imagine this room bathed in a warm light, with the sunlight being filtered through the striped curtains adding an extra accent. You did a beautiful job, congratulations!

Regarding a lighting fixture, here's one source which may be fun to play with:

Have fun! :-)

Thanks Merisi, I will check out the lighting website.

It has become our new favorite room in the house...

Hi Tori!
Have you found a lighting fixture in the meantime?

We need a tall lamp for your family room, but that has not happened yet: I am such a lazy shopper! Maybe I should go online and just order .... ;-)

Would you be so kind to share what paint you used here? A friend is desperately looking for a color and yours seems just the answer.
